Community

A community is used to bring together a group of people as well as solidarity, commitment, mutuality and trust.  For my group project about being bullied, my group and I are working on a Facebook page to target our audience of teenagers (13-19 years old).  Our goal is to try to prevent bullies from bullying as well as be an outlet for people who are being bullied to visit.

We hope our Facebook page will bring about a community.  We hope that teens who are being bullied will visit our page and be able to vent about being bullied or see that they are not alone.  We will try to help them with how to deal with it and stand up for themselves.

Through our Facebook page, we will have a link to the website Dipity.  On this website we will put a timeline of events that have happened where teens were being bullied.  Through this timeline we are trying to show our audience good ways that people have dealt with being bullied along with bad ways that they should never do.
